Summer in the Spring

March was full of 80°+ days in Colorado, and no rain. (It's usually the wettest month of the year.) The weeds and grasses got a good jump on me, as I was busy taking a writing class...so, now I am paying the price. Write what?? ugh...I'll be outside.

Grace,
Take your writer's pad and pen when you are 'outside.' Almost sounded like an excuse not to stare at the blank page - "page fright"- a new term that I learned in my current course.

Good advise!

Taking a class is a really helpful thing to motivate the writing time.
What are you taking now?

Seriously, my yard was out of control with weeds in this strange spring weather. I was feeling a bit panicked by the ratio of weeds to things I like! I got closer to a state I'm comfortable with yesterday. Just a couple more days of work at it.

Best,
Grace
